A day on the main island of Fiji
The three tours that I will indicate can be done in a single day

The three tours that I will indicate below can be done in a single day. The local guides charge a very affordable value for the package. The cost is about FDJ $ 195 (USD $ 94,73). In addition to tours, you will be able to do some shopping. Among one attraction and another, we stopped to buy souvenirs in the city of Nadi and visited the local fair to buy fresh fruit. In other words, your day will be very productive.

Hindu Temple

Do you want to know more about the religion of the Hindus?   The Sri Siva Subramania Temple will be the stopping point in Nadi. The name is hard to pronounce, but if you tell the cabbie to go to the Hindu Temple, he’ll know what it’s all about.

Although it is not so large, it is the largest temple in the southern hemisphere. The vibrant colors and Dravidian architecture are the details that caught my eye. You don’t need to have much time for the visit, since it can take only 30 minutes depending on how far your curiosity goes. A entrada no templo custa FJD $ 5 (USD $ 2,50).

Garden of Sleep Giant

Famous for its unique collection of orchids, the Garden of Sleep Giant is a unique landscape garden and specialized in native plants. The tour becomes a relaxing and invigorating option. Worth checking!  You can find or information on the website www.gsgfiji.com.

Mud pool

To end the day in the most relaxing way possible, go to the mud pool. Take a bikini and do not worry - the mud doesn’t leave smudges. Do not expect a spa or something. The space is quite simple and remember to treat the locals very well.

Take a mud bath and let it dry. Then, you will enter a pool of clean and warm water. The sensation of clean and soft skin is instantaneous. Some people say that the skin is rejuvenates after a mud bath. I really wanted to get into the pool three more times just to be sure, but they would not let me, lol.
