About me
I am Brazilian, piscean and traveller. Working as a yacht stewardess gives me the oportunitty to be close to the ocean, which is where I always wanted to be. This blog is the result of a desire to share my life with people who are seeking for a new adventure and also to help those who cross my path. Welcome to my world!
The Secret Life of Growing Up
There is no right age to find out what makes you happy
11/04/2017 - Updated on 12/04/2017 11h44

During my flight from Brisbane, Australia, to Singapore, I watched a documentary called "The Secret Life of Growing Up", which basically explains, in a technical manner, what happens to our bodies, minds and souls as the years go by.
As a Pisces myself, I always think that I won't have enough time to do everything I want to in this lifetime. So many countries to explore, so many new things to learn, so much to experience. Am I living against the clock?
The documentary includes notable quotes that make you think that life is short only for those that don't know how to live. You may be 31-years-old, like me, and think that you've lived through everything, ready to settle down and carry on with the same life.  Or, you can find out that the midlife point is merely a new beginning. For some, or for many, this is the moment in which you become wiser, more prudent and, consequently, when you start to see life differently. It becomes easier to live, to find solutions for problems and, consequently, to be happier.
I have two goals with this post. The first is to get you to watch this short documentary - it's just two episodes long. I want it to bring you light and to make you live in a unique and intense manner. That's what it taught me.
Second: age is nothing but a number. That's a fact! You'll find out about an 80-year-old lady that found a passion in skydiving. She enjoys it so much, she's jumped over a hundred times. She found out that doing that makes her smile and continue to enjoy life.

Therefore, if you ever think, like I once did "what will become of me?"  Take it easy! There is no right age to find out what makes you happy. I found out that I love being a Stewardess, that the world is my oyster, the sea is my backyard and my family is my safe haven.

There are no rules or obligations in the walk of life. Be kind-hearted. Do good. Take care of your body. These are my rules for a happy life. Maturing is mandatory, growing old is optional.

Have a beautiful day, full of love and sincere smiles.
